About us: Burpham Church

Burpham Church is a local family-centred church in the heart of Burpham. While greater Guildford has many churches full of our sisters and brothers, we are an Anglican church who long to welcome anyone to come and join us in seeking Jesus.
Our straplines: Being with Jesus, Worshipping Intergenerationally and Loving this Community really do speak volumes about who we are, and seek to be.
Being with Jesus - our primary call to worship our Saviour, to learn how to do live with him and rest in his presence.
Worshipping Intergenerationally - "it takes a village to raise a child", so we feel it takes a village to raise a believer too, and we long to worship, grow and serve across generations, learning from one another - the intergenerational is an intentional aim to learn and grow from one generation to another.
Loving this community - people who choose to attend Burpham Church are local Christians who want to be part of a local church community, or who come to faith through the church. We long to serve our local Burpham area, and be planted alongside those who live and work here to serve, cherish and love them like Jesus does.
Burpham Church has a strong local and community base, providing worship for members from a variety of backgrounds or no previous church experience. In a recent survey of our congregation on location, 98% responded as local. One person captured the church as:
"Friendly, welcoming, non judgmental and supportive. A place to meet with God."
Burpham Church has two church buildings, the Church of The Holy Spirit and St Luke's.
The Church Office is located at the Church of The Holy Spirit, New Inn Lane.
There is disabled parking, toilet and step-free access at the Church of The Holy Spirit.
There is a loop system in both churches.
